SAFETY MEASURES

WHAT WE ARE DOING

As lockdown restrictions ease, many of us are excited to get back into the gym to kickstart our fitness and wellbeing. To ensure you can train with confidence,Sport Ireland Campus Fitness is introducing a range of new measures.

INCREASED CLEANING

- Thorough cleaning of all equipment by both professional cleaners and staff. On the gym floor and following the conclusion of any class

- No shared equipment unless disinfected between uses

physical DISTANCING

Repositioning equipment where possible as well as introducing clear floor markings and more signage to help members and staff maintain 2 metres social distancing in all areas of the gym

SAFETY MEASURES

Hygiene stations placed nearby high-touch areas offering hand sanitiser, medical grade disinfectant for use and sanitising gym wipes

WHAT you can do

  • Do not attend the gym if you’re feeling unwell

  • A strict ‘no towel, no train’ policy is in place

  • We ask that you take responsibility for social distancing measures by adhering to dedicated floor markings, avoid congregating prior to Group Exercise classes starting, respect capacity rules and use only the equipment that is available

  • Don't arrive more than 5 minutes prior to you booking, to ensure that we adhere to social distancing capacity

  • Thoroughly wipe down all equipment before and after use, using the antibacterial wipes provided

  • Lockers are not in use for the time being, so arrive with only the essentials including a towel and a water bottle. Please leave your valuables at home or on your person*

  • We encourage you to bring your own mat when attending Group Exercise classes

  • Always swipe into the club, this will enable more accurate attendance records

  • Please be respectful to team members who are enforcing procedures
